NOTICE THAT THE FINAL MEMBERS FORUM IS SCHEDULED FOR THE 4th Day OF THE LEICESTER GAME, WEATHER FORCAST GOOD, WILL ANYBODY BE IN THE GROUND ?

Going to be a tough week given the weather. Undoubtedly will be asked to bat today on a cloudy and humid day and then the forecast for the rest of the week is sunshine. While I am generally in favour of uncontested tosses to promote the provision of good batting tracks, at this time of year it tends to hand a significant advantage to the away team.

Will be interesting to see whether Carey keeps his place as that looks like the only possible change...though you never know with our selection policy. :lol

The only hope is to try and create a dry turning pitch for the team batting last and play two spinners.

A universal fact in cricket is that when a team bats poorly it is a bowler who gets dropped. :)

Says a lot about how little they rate our backup batsmen...

Interesting team selection with TvdG missing out - assume he must have an injury as expected him to play ahead of Carey. TvdG took 5/112 in the Worcs game while Carey took 1/81. Experiment with Cullen short-lived with 6 bowlers playing. Seems a bit short on batting - not sure why need Wagg and Smith if playing two spinners. Thought it might be an opportunity for Lawlor or Brown.

A shame that TvdG isn't playing, but hopefully just left out as a precaution.

An interesting make up to our line-up this time with so many all rounders selected.

A decent effort by the openers to get through the first hour.

Tough batting conditions though with numerous plays and misses.

Shame about Selman's dismissal. How often does the bad ball get the dismissal?

A good (generally) disciplined effort from the batsmen so far.

Brathwaite probably isn't in the best of touch and his footwork hasn't always been there, but he's shown good application.

It's a shame that having been one of the first counties to show county games from the fixed camera, linked to the on line commentary, we now have one of the poorest products. Other counties seem to be able to place the cameras directly behind the bowler, to change ends between overs and have the ability to have the video recorded so you can go back and review play. Middlesex were able to show pictures from their out ground. I suppose it is not a surprise that Glamorgan do not keep up.

A lot of potential low scores. IF we can somehow get to 400 in 110, we might be onto something

Credit to all of our batsmen for showing some discipline.

They had some (a huge amount) of luck at times, but that should bode well for our bowlers.
