A forum for Lancashire CCC fans
Hi all,

I thought I'd let you know about an event taking place at Liverpool CC on Tuesday 4 June following the close of play on day two between Lancashire and Leicestershire.

Tatenda Taibu, the former Zimbabwean national team captain, will be talking about his new autobiography, Keeper of Faith, which has just been released. In the book Tatenda reflects on the difficulty of being an outspoken sportsman in the age of Robert Mugabe and how he went from being Zimbabwe's first black captain in 2004 (and Test Cricket's youngest ever skipper) to fleeing the country in 2005 amid a series of threats to him and his family.

On the night Tatenda will also be talking about how he quit international cricket at the age of 29 to concentrate on his faith, and how he has ended up living in Liverpool, playing for Formby CC.

Tickets are £15 and come with a copy of the book. Details here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/an-eveni ... 2259551996
