Luke Wells has been picked up by Lancashire. Not sure if we are still looking for another top order batsman.

This is club cricket
FYI - Selman has a first class average of 28 after 56 games.
Would that earn him a start at any other county ?

He is scoring runs against bowlers who include ones who have played Sheffiled Shield cricket. What's not to like?

Totally irrelevant - it’s NOT first class cricket.
Check out the bowlers he was facing - just clubbies.

From Maynard's comments previously, it sounded like the plan was to go with Lloyd and Selman at the top of the order.

As we have a big squad elsewhere - including retaining fringe players like Hemphrey and Cullen - I wouldn't be surprised if we go with what we have.

Am not saying he's the Messiah. Just pleased to see him getting big scores. Sam Northeast played in the same team last winter.

Ingram signs a contract extrension until the end of 2022.

Have to say I am unsure whether this is money (and I assume quite a lot of it) well spent. The plan is for him to play more red ball cricket in place of Marnus. I just feel that Ingram has not really done anything, even in T20, for a number of years. Last time he played in the BBL he was dropped. I hope I am wrong and await his performances in the BBL next month.

2015-2017 Colin Ingram would have walked into any County T20 side and with Rudolph ensured we were a competitive and respected 1 day side. Destructive batting and very handy leg spin made him one of our best ever 1 day players. The knee injury seemed to bring a drop in form, no longer able to bowl, limited in the field and not quick between the wickets. I trust he has convinced HM, MM and MW of his fitness because as you say Glamman he won`t come cheap. Presumably Glammy`s finances are solid in these troubled times.
