Great start. Just seen one of the dimmest bits of play from De Lange as he concedes 6 no balls from a 2nd bouncer. Every run crucial and he bowls anoth half tracker.

98 all out is a good job by the bowlers. If they look at themselves they will know they gifted Northants at least 12 of them.
Now up to the batsmen to work out how best to bat to get these runs. Tricky pitch but should have worked how best to do it. Northants didn't use 16 balls!

Lloyd in only his 2nd appearance of the season showing what a loss he has been to our batting line up. Just showing the assurance that might have been able to get a bit more out of the players around him.

A fine win.

The bowling still looks pretty good (when they use their brains! ), and the batting isn't quite so weak with Lloyd having returned. With a couple of overseas batsmen and hopefully another opener coming in next season, the team won't look so bad in this format.

Very comprehensive win. To be fair, our bowlers have been pretty good throughout and contributed valuable runs too. Lloyd has been very positive as opener which we needed. Well done all!

The Sisodiya and Salter combination has been a big positive. They’ve caused the opposition problems at the top of the order pretty much every match.

Well done Glammy, a fine bowling performance and a comfortable win against a side who two games ago were on a good run. Now Gloucs are on top with only 1 defeat, to Glammy. Unlikely to see us progress but any little acorns gratefully accepted this season. Whilst the batting still looks lightweight the return of Lloyd, Selman, Smith and TVDG make it a much better balanced side. With Cooke. Sisodiya and Salter its the basis of a decent team.

Re our batting woes this season, come back Rudolph ? perhaps we were too hard om him on here.

It’s certainly working. The only downside is that the white ball only does anything for the seamers for a few overs so they aren’t getting that benefit. If it’s working don’t fix it.
