:yikes:
It's like watching groundhog day! But it's ok because occasionally with this super test ground England come calling now and again so the Glamorgan hierarchy can bask in reflective glory 5 days a year, whilst the team continues to turn out dross.

It's disappointing, but not much of a surprise. Somerset, Surrey and Middlesex simply have much better players than we do.

We've made big improvements this season, but our failings were never going to be eradicated quickly or easily.

The highly paid stars need to front up - Ingram and Zaman not scoring runs and Lloyd and Cooke need to do better. Morgan at 5 is a problem and Douthwaite has been overhyped. Don’t understand why Wagg isn’t batting higher and why Cooke batting below Morgan.

Spot on, add Root and de Lange to Lloyd and Cooke.

Don't forget how many top players were missing for Surrey and Middlesex.

"After three losses and another not-good batting display, we might have to look at a few changes, there are guys in the wings who are hungry to play," Ingram told BBC Sport.

Personally I do not undertsand why Carey did not play earlier instead of De Lange. On the batting side Lawlor hadn't done much wrong and I was surprised to see Morgan playing infront of him especially as Morgan did not bowl last night.

Carlson and Meschede had good games last season with the bat in the T20 but both cannot buy a run at present. Nevertheless it may be worth seeing if Carlson can resurrect his season with a run out next week. There are two 2nd XI T20s against Hampshire on Monday so it will be interesting to see who plays in those. Callum Taylor and Connor Brown both scored centuries against Kent 2s in the week and Taylor is a bowling option. However I am not sure how well this can be translated into 1st XI T20.

Talking of Hampshire, those people who had written Donald off may have to thnk again. While he still is a bit hit and miss, he is doing a job in both formats for Hampshire (a Div 1 side) and helped them to a good win against Somerset last night with 48 off 34 balls.

Lawlor coming in for Morgan would seem to be a no-brainer. Douthwaite could also make way as he has been patchy.

To be fair to de Lange, he is one of the few players to come out of the Middlesex game with some credit.

And Lloyd has done pretty well so far. We certainly need more from Fakhar and Ingram though.

The Canadian 20/20 is on Freeview and noticed last night that James Foster is coaching one of the teams !

Donald as said above is producing good form. In T20 dismal failure can turn to glory in the space of 4 overs. Not so easy in longer formats as Ireland will tell you. But I am glad for the lad, and as already said it is a pity he is no longer wearing the daffodil .
