Phil Salt (Sussex) would be the first batsman on the list for starters.

With our finances and not being a big, attractive club, a young up and coming Australian player may be a shrewd signing along with our other newcomers.

Apologies if my post upset some people. Thought it was a well documented fact that we were bottom of second division last year and aren’t a rich Club to attract ‘top’ players. Seemed a promising acquisition but we will see - ever the optimist!

Apologising for a) stating facts, or b) expressing an opinion, should not be a requirement of this, or any open forum.
Keep on doing what you are doing hujon, and if people have problems with that, then it's their problem, and not yours. :)

Hope Ingram finds some form before our T20 competition as he has had a lean time in this year's IPL.

You were right in what you said and fortunately it looks like he can bat at the top of the order. Oh boy we've been desperate for top 3 batsmen for years in the championship. 133-1 and 364-2 was starting to feel like the stuff of legend for our club

We really rely on his runs and strike rate in T20. Fingers crossed he's saving his runs for us!!!
