I hadn’t thought of Hogan but, if we look at his commitment on and off the field for so many years, he has been a true stalwart. We tend to remember the flamboyance and talent of the likes of Richards but forget those who perform admirably day in, day out over a number of years. I think it’s his benefit year which should be postponed but not sure how long his contract is or how long he intends to play. Outstanding contributor.

However interesting how many true Greats have graced the County Game. For me I would have Hogan ahead of the 4 Glammy nominations, admirable as Kasper was.

I'm with you re Hogan. What a great bowler he has proven to be, year in, year out. He's Glamorgan through and through.
