Cannot see the full line up for the 2's game today but expect the same 12 man squad to be going to Leicester with just a switch over for the 3 seamer places when it comes to the final XI. Very little competition for the batting slots especially as we seem to be selecting 8 batsmen.
Hopefully will see some new faces for the 50 over games starting on the 18th but other than Ingram for Carlson, who isn't going to play in these games because of exams, it might be just the same. Could see another seamer but they will probably aim to get 20 overs from Salter, Ingram and Lloyd and keep the long batting line up. Things might only change if we aren't going to qualify for the KO stages.

The 2nds performances over the past couple of days (up to now at least) don't suggest that there is much pressure being put on the 1st XI.

There aren't really any batsmen in the 2's other than Lawlor and Brown.

It seems that the cricket department at Glamorgan have little interaction with the media department given that the twitter feed has just announced an unchanged squad of 13 while Smith is not going to be in Leicetser as he is down in Somerset with the 2s and was not part of the squad for the last game.

Two hammerings for the Second XI.

Unchanged XI today. Obviously Hogan not buying into rotation policy for himself - no reason why he should. However not sure why Carey not replacing De Lange who was expensive in both innings last week with combined figures from the 2 innings of 2/102. Maybe Carey has a niggle.

If this is a good pitch and the Leics batsmen get in there might be a lot of work for the 3 seamers. Will be interesting to see how Lloyd bowls. As many of us have said we are a bowler light especially on a good batting track.

No problem with workload if they continue to rip through the Leics batting at the current rate.

Noticed we didn't fancy a bowl but lost the toss and had no choice.

How are the conditions? Bit of a recovery here by Leics. (Although I see they have one retired hurt also)
